Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FieldBid iOS application ("App") operated by FieldBid, a sole proprietorship owned by Berkecan Aydinsan ("FieldBid", "we", "us", "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. App Purpose

FieldBid helps contractors create job estimates and proposal PDFs, and maintain a local price book. The App is intended for business use by contractors and similar professionals.

3. Eligibility and Account Model

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. FieldBid v1 does not provide user accounts. Data is stored locally on your device.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Paid access is billed through Apple In-App Purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings on iOS.
  • Billing, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and policies.

5. Your Data and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you enter into the App, including business, customer, estimate, and pricing details. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before sending proposals to customers.

6. Local Storage and Backups

App data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. FieldBid does not provide a cloud account system in v1. Any device-level backup features (such as iCloud backup) are controlled by Apple and your device settings.

7. No Professional or Legal Advice

FieldBid is a software tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, or professional advice. You remain solely responsible for your pricing, terms, and contractual obligations.

8. Service Availability

We may update, improve, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldBid is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated or if required by law. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law rules.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted in the App or on our website.
